INCOLOY 825 (UNS N08825) is a versatile, corrosion-resistant alloy designed for aggressive environments. Its high nickel content provides excellent resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, while the combination of molybdenum, copper, and titanium enhances resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular corrosion. The alloy also offers strong resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids, making it suitable for chemical processing and marine applications.
INCOLOY 825 is highly stable in both acidic and alkaline environments, with excellent mechanical properties maintained even after prolonged exposure to harsh conditions. It is particularly effective in handling sulfuric and phosphoric acids, seawater, and aggressive industrial chemicals.
